Discover The Positive Rossi in Qatar

Valentino Rossi's debut with Ducati lasted less spectacular. In the series premiere MotoGP 2011 in Losail Circuit, Qatar, on Sunday (20/3/11), "The Doctor", the start of a sequence of nine, could only finish in seventh position.

These results show how difficult Rossi to adapt to Desemosedici GP11 during the winter. In addition, her physical condition that has not fit 100 percent due to interference with the shoulder, took a negative contribution in the fight.

But on the other hand, Rossi claimed to find something positive in this initial series. He can give more specific instructions about what to do, in the face of intense competition this 2011 season.

Actually, at the beginning of the race, Rossi was kicked off. When the red lights, seven-times MotoGP world champion was immediately darted forward to occupy the second position before the first corner. But after that, 32-year-old rider from Italy began to experience difficulties, including when he was crucified by the Yamaha rider, Ben Spies, the struggle for sixth position.

Nevertheless, Rossi became the best rider for the Ducati team, because the finished seventh. Former Honda and Yamaha rider was also recorded fastest lap for his team, although 0.687 seconds adrift of the Repsol Honda rider, Casey Stoner, who is the winner.

"Of course we did not come here to finish in seventh position, but there are positive things from this race, starting at the time, because we also could go faster," said Rossi. "I made a good start, and it is a nice feeling because motor power is very helpful when gliding.

"Then I made a small mistake at the first corner, which makes me have to be pretty long in the back of Barbera for several laps. Nevertheless, I was close to Simoncelli and Dovizioso (positions 4 and 5).

"I can not beat them, because at the end of the race, I could not last long for the race as desired.

"I am not referring to the Ducati because last year, after my shoulder injury, I had similar problems in the last few races. Then, since the two motors are so different, then it means there is a problem for me, not just physically.

"Not only that. We also need to fix the motor because the others have already made a step forward rapidly since last year.

"I also have a lot of tests and learn in this race, and we've given very specific instructions about what to do for the future, so that could change in the second round this season, for example.

"In the near future, otherwise, we will do the setting, and continue to learn from experience and I will always exercise that can restore physical condition."

Meanwhile, Rossi's teammate, Nicky Hayden, admitted it is difficult to compete after nearly involved in an accident suffered by Randy de Puniet on the first lap. Although the survivors, but the United States rider has been left far from the rider-rider in front, so he must be satisfied to finish in ninth position.

"I did a bad start in this race, and then when de Puniet crash, I was barely involved and stop. I'm happy not melindasnya, but it is a bad thing, because I finally far behind the rider in front," said Hayden, a former world champion 2006.

"We have many things to do, but this is just the first series, and no one can say that we are not trying."

Show adamant, Lorenzo Almost Crash

The position of finishing second at Losail already achieved Jorge Lorenzo with fight tooth and nail. I was so spur motor spirit, Lorenzo to the point that almost fell.

Lorenzo had to settle for finishing in second position in the Qatar MotoGP. Yamaha rider finished behind Honda riders, Caesy Stoner, who had appeared so dominant at Losail on weekends.

"Many people have forgotten about us in this race, but we believe is getting better from day to day," Lorenzo said in Autosport.

"Today I tried my best on the track. I do not hold hold back. On every corner in every lap, I was until batasku," he said.

Due to the fervent spirit of it, Lorenzo also had a chance to make mistakes. Luckily he could still be on top of mount and continue the race.

"I almost crashed. When you drove like that, very easy to crash. I can avoid the crash, somehow, but I stayed on the track."

"Maybe if it did not happen, I can try to catch Casey, but today he was very, very quickly,"said Lorenzo.

Qatar MotoGP, Stoner Back to King Losail

Losail - Losail indeed "circuit" Casey Stoner. Dominant since the free practice sessions, Stoner eventually won the race which took place on Monday (3/21/2011) pm dawn, this. Stoner again became king at the Losail Circuit.

If you look at records in the four previous seasons, only one failed to become champion Stoner in Losail, namely in 2010, at which time the race was won by Valentino Rossi.

The rest, from 2007 to 2009, Losail is owned by Stoner. And this time, the drivers from Australia that again showed its dominance in spite of time to get fierce battle of Dani Pedrosa in the middle of the race.

Pole which he held also had taken over Pedrosa in the early races. In fact, his position was once overtaken by Jorge Lorenzo in the early races. But Stoner was able to improve their record of the time little by little to re-take the lead.

Once inside the front, Stoner's success makes a significant distance over Pedrosa. He was superior to 1.4 seconds over his fellow Honda and let it fight with Lorenzo to compete for second position.

Race getting closer to the end and Stoner had no idea which is on the circuit. Three laps before the end of the race, its distance from Lorenzo and Pedrosa had widened to about 3.5 seconds.

As a result, the first race this season was his.

Pedrosa Can Happy End "The Curse"

Dani Pedrosa feel, start from position two to race in Losail Circuit, Qatar, on Sunday (20/03/2011) tonight is a good result. The reason is, this is the first time he starts from the first row in Qatar.

Pedrosa competing with Casey Stoner, Repsol Honda team-mate. After the chase had been a best time, Pedrosa, Stoner eventually have to acknowledge greatness, which is entitled grabbed pole position and leading 0.2 seconds.

Despite failing to become leader of the race later, but Pedrosa was satisfied with the results of these qualifications because he succeeded in ending the "curse" on the circuit. Because, prior to this qualification, the Spanish rider was never better than fifth position at Losail.

"I look forward to being at the forefront because of this for the first time I grabbed it on this track so the result is a big improvement for me," said Pedrosa. "Normally, I usually was in the third row for this track so I am happy with this result."

Honda is very dominant during the preseason tests in Qatar and also training. Although Pedrosa is confident that the bike is very competitive in the series opener this season, but he acknowledged that the important thing is not complacent.

"Note the time was very fast, so this also makes quiet," said Pedrosa. "But, we must focus on dealing with the race tomorrow.

"I'm hoping to bring home a good result for this first series. Motor has worked well so hopefully I can race with the good as well."

Lorenzo Optimistic Up Podium

Losail - the third position in the Qatar MotoGP qualifying satisfactory Jorge Lorenzo. 2010 world champion was too optimistic can be on the podium in the race.

Lorenzo will occupy the third starting position in the Qatar MotoGP race. He occupied the front row with the Honda duo, Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa.

Lorenzo was not too disappointed with these results. For him, the result was better than last test at the end of last week, where he just might be the fifth and seventh fastest rider.

"A very strict qualifications. Trek better than usual, so a record time of all the drivers get better," Lorenzo said, as quoted by Autosport.

"We're doing the maximum. We are very proud of our record of time and work this weekend. For, if people say to me that I could record time of 1 minute 54.9 seconds last week, I will not believe it," added driver Spanish.

Results qualifications can also make optimistic Lorenzo on the podium.

"But now we are at 1 minute 54.9 seconds and we were there in the front row, so for tomorrow I think we could reach the podium - or trying to achieve. We will try to achieve that," due diligence.

Qatar MotoGP Qualifying Stoner on pole

Losail - Casey Stoner proved if the Losail circuit indeed be his favorite arena. In the qualifying session Honda rider was unbearable to snatch pole position for tomorrow's race. Behind him there are Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo.

In a qualifying session is held on Sunday (20/03/2011) pm dawn, Stoner dominant since the beginning of this session. Despite the achievement of his time had passed by Pedrosa, Stoner finally able to end the qualifiers with a record time of 1 minute 54.137 seconds.

Meanwhile, Pedrosa had to settle for starting in the second position with Raihan time 0.205 seconds slower than his new colleagues are.

Lorenzo's world champion who appeared less slick in pre-season test session and free practice managed to improve his performance by occupying the third start time of 1 minute by Raihan 54.947 seconds.

Partners Lorenzo in Yamaha, Ben Spies was sitting in fifth position with a time 0.958 seconds slower than Stoner. Completing the top five positions there of Gresini Honda's Marco Simoncelli in fourth position with a time of 1 minute 54.988 seconds.

Unfavorable fate must be accepted that Valentino Rossi had to settle for the next race started with his Ducati from the 9th after the finish this session with a time of 1 minute 55.637 seconds.
