Honda Motorcycles, Perfect For You

Are you looking for a motorcycle but don't know what brand to trust in? Well, a Honda Motorcycle is probably the best choice for you. This bike will be dependable and all of your Honda motorcycle parts will last for years and years to come. In this trying economy, it is probably not the time to invest in a big diesel truck or a high maintenance car. Get a brand new motorcycle from the world's largest and most trusted motorcycle manufacturers, Honda.

In early 1949, Honda began producing high quality bikes. When it reached 2005, Honda already accumulated several manufacturing plants in more than twenty different countries and more than 150 million bikes were sold. As years went by, the quality of Honda bikes became better and better and the popularity of the brand rose to an all time high. The most popular and perhaps the greatest of all the Honda models is the Valkyrie.

The Honda Valkyrie is offered as a six cylinder, inline engine. Liquid cooling is provided within these models using a 1520cc boxer. Soon after its release in 1997, the Valkryie became Honda's best selling model. It was not designed as a V twin. Instead, Honda focused on power and used six different carburetors and set up the lining of the cylinders in opposite directions as opposed to at angles. But the smooth idle and awesome engine noises were not enough. In 2004, the final Valkyrie model, the "Rune" edition was released and sold. Unfortunately, due to their popularity only used Valkyries are available on the motorcycle market.

Honda motorcycles are all suited for street riding as well as off-road biking. They produce both large and smaller motorcycles. For example, the CR85R, with an 85cc engine is a great beginner bike for a teenager. Other models such as the CRF50 or the XR650L deliver a much stronger and powerful performance and are typically intended for off-roading. For traveling the city every day, the Interceptor model is ideal for handling daily traffic. For a larger, more robust Honda motorcycle, one might look into the Goldwing which is ideal for a manly man of size.
